Calling the wise, the aged, the grey... Auckland Central Volleyball Club and North Harbour Volleyball welcome you to head down to Mission Bay to apply your guile and experience on the beach volleyball court!

Format: Pairs (male and female brackets, no mixed)
Age requirement: You must be 29 years or older on the day to enter

This event is part of the Auckland Challenger to be held over 12-13 November. There are also U16, U18 and Open divisions, but the young whippersnappers competing in those divisions will be safely off of your lawn and playing over at Mairangi Bay Beach Volleyball Club.

Masters players of all levels are very welcome. There will be a few competitive players knocking around, but we anticipate that many entries will be from social players... so don't be put off if you're new to the game! We'd also like to extend an especially warm invite to indoor players - beach is a lot easier on the knees than indoor as you fade into age and decrepitude, so what better time to start than today?

The winning teams of the Masters division in each gender will have the opportunity (if they choose to) of playing on Sunday against the very best teams from the Open, U16, and U18 divisions in the final round of the Auckland Challenger at Mairangi Bay. That said, if you win the Masters and decide that's enough ball for the weekend and it's time for a beer, no one will hold it against you!

This event is part of the lead-up to World Masters Games. This is a great opportunity to start dusting off your skills so that you're ready to take on the best (old) players in the world in April 2017.
